Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign returns Nov. 18-24

November 17, 2024

The second annual Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie campaign is returning from Nov. 18 to Nov. 24 and 100% of proceeds from sales at Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) Tim Hortons locations will be donated to the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia and Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.

“We’re proud to partner with HRM Tim Hortons locations because we all share a commitment to improving mental health and wellness here in our local communities,” says Starr Cunningham, President and CEO of the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia. “The programs we fund provide support to individuals who are struggling with their mental wellness or living with mental illness and addiction.”

Funds raised from the Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie campaign will benefit mental health and addictions organizations operating in HRM that cover one or more of the following six funding priority areas: youth, mental health literacy, suicide prevention, addictions, vulnerable populations, and diverse communities.

The Tim Hortons Smile Cookie program was first launched in 1996 and has since raised over $129-million for charities and community groups across the country. Last year, $9.8-million was raised through the first Holiday Smile Cookie campaign. The Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia is one of over 400 charities and community groups involved in this year’s campaign.

The Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie is a white chocolate sugar cookie infused with red and green sprinkles and a hand-decorated white icing smile face. Cookies will be sold for $1.50.
