January 15, 2025 — We’re thrilled to introduce Body Movin’, our new province-wide fundraising challenge taking place all month long in February. Designed for participants of all ages and abilities, Body Movin’ encourages Nova Scotians to move their bodies with intention in support of raising money for mental health while nurturing their own wellbeing.
December 2, 2024 - This past weekend, we welcomed members of Nova Scotia’s business, philanthropic, and mental health communities to the NYC-inspired RBC Holiday Black Tie Gala in Halifax, raising $275,000 and counting for local mental health programs and initiatives across Nova Scotia.
We provide a tax receipt for gifts over $10. Due to limited staff resources, tax receipts will be mailed (or emailed) up to two weeks after gift received. If you have any questions concerning our receipting policy, please contact us.
Each year our partner organizations deliver more than 100 programs and initiatives for Nova Scotians living with mental disorders, and their loved ones in communities from Shelburne to Membertou.
Our 2023-2024 Community Report celebrates a year of creating community connections to improve mental health and showcases our donor dollars at work.
January 29, 2025 — Being physically active is scientifically proven to enhance your mental health, no matter how you do it. That’s why we’re encouraging Nova Scotians of all ages to get their Body Movin’, and we’re thrilled that residents of Parkland at the Gardens are joining the movement!
